Make sure you have the correct laminate for its purpose, all custom floor decals will have a slip rating with an 'R' value and PTV result to standard ‘BS7976-2’.
R Rating values are given their values from testing in accordance with DIN 51130 and DIN 51097 as shown in the tables below.

If you are not given a copy of the data sheet with your job, or your sign company/printer is unable to supply you with one, then you will not be covered if a member of the public has an accident on any floor graphics that you have supplied or installed.
R ratings can be provided for forensic information on slip injury cases.
If you require us to quote on any floor graphics, please state:
- The floor graphics location?
- Is the area of the floor graphic susceptible to getting wet from rain or other liquids?
- What is the footfall of traffic like in that area?
- Will the floor graphic be placed internally or externally?
- What is the existing state of the floor where the floor vinyl is to be placed?
We offer different grades of floor graphics suitable for short-term internal use to long-term external use, these ratings vary from R10 to R13.
We are happy to supply a copy of a data sheet with every anti-slip floor graphic that we produce.
