Questions on manifestation

Is there only one style of manifestation vinyl available?

No these can be any shape or size, but they will need to be big enough so that the window safety markings are visible from different heights and various angles. They must also be contrasting enough from both sides in varying light conditions.

What windows do not require window manifestation?

This is our standard vinyl, suitable for 95% of surfaces.

A window which is less than 40cm wide.
A single glazed door with a thick frame.
A partitioned window with a frame or rail at a height of 850-1000mm and 1.4-1.6m above the floor.
Non framed doors with large handles or push plates on each door pane.

Can I have large images or frosted patterns to meet the DDR building regulations?

Yes you can, these can contribute to the style of the building and help build brand awareness. They must cover required areas to meet the regulations.

Can you cut the frosting to shape?

Yes, we can cut any shape out of frosted vinyl including text.

Can you print graphics onto the frost?

Yes we can print onto the frost giving it a stained glass effect. For solid colours we would require to apply a solid coloured or printed vinyl in its place.

Are there many different variations in shades of frost?

Some etched film has reflective specs and others are very minimal.

What is the maximum width of frosted vinyl?

1.6m on the roll, anything wider and we would have to join it.

How do I clean my frosted film?

We recommend using a lint free cloth, or sponge and soapy water.

Is it better to apply window graphics inside or outside?

We recommend that it gets installed on the inside of the glass so that the vinyl is protected from the outside elements.

What is the largest vinyl you can produce?

We can print and install any window graphic size but if it gets over 1.5m on the shortest length we would have to install with a join.

Do you print and install perforated window film?

Yes we can print and install perforated window film on either internal or external glass. There are different grades of one way vision film that give different percentages of holes too.
